In Support of the Social Services League of La Jolla

About 170 guests attended the festive fundraising gala at Darlington House for the Social Serves League of La Jolla through silent auction bids. This year Jim, along with his wife Linda, was in attendance and won a yacht cruise for 10 at the live auction in support of the League!

The Social Service League of La Jolla was founded in 1929 and is dedicated to providing affordable accommodations for retirees who have lived and worked in the San Diego area. The League House (adjacent to Darlington House) provides meal support and housing for 50 low-income seniors who meet age and health criteria.

More information on the Social Service League of La Jolla and The League House can be found on their websites. An article was written about the event in the U-T Scene section, published Sunday, December 11th, 2016.
